(LP) DG 2530236 Michelangeli's recording is one of most important events in DG history but to my surprise was never released on CD. The Philips CD is a demonstration quality digital recording and Davidovich performance is pure gold. Concerto No.2 in f for Piano and Orchestra, Op. 21 Argerich, Rostropovich, NSO + Schumann:P.Con. LP DG 2531042 Davidovich, Marriner, London Sym. Philips 410042 Both Russians shows more affinity with the Polish composer, and although not being together, their partners did a good job in this successful work. Scherzos (4) Op. 20, 31, 39, 54 Ashkenazy Decca or London 417474 Michelangeli (No.2) + Ballade (No.1) + Etc.
